BOYS HIGH SCHOOL LACROSSE IN THE BOULDER VALLEY
Boulder Valley Lacrosse supports and feeds all five local high school programs.
We do not endorse one program over another.
BVL encourages parents to make decisions about high school attendance on the basis of multiple factors, not just lacrosse.
The Colorado High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) and the Boulder Valley School District have specific rules about where students can play boys high school lacrosse.
The following guidelines are general and may not cover all circumstances. BVL encourages parents to contact the athletic director of the high school their son will attend for specific information.
If the athlete will attend...
Boulder, Dawson, Fairview, Monarch: He must play lacrosse for the school at which he is enrolled.
OPEN ENROLLMENT: If he wishes to play lacrosse at Boulder, Fairview, or Monarch High School, he may open enroll at that school. Contact BVSD for more information about open enrollment.
Centaurus: he must play for Monarch.
Broomfield: he may play for his home school on the basis of residence or may play for Dawson.
Arapahoe Ridge: he may play for his home school on the basis of residence or may play for Dawson.
Nederland: he may play for the school closest to home as established by Mapquest or may play for Dawson.
New Vista: he may play for his home school by residence or may play for Dawson.
Peak to Peak: he may play for his home school by residence or may play for Dawson.
Private school not offering lacrosse: he may play for his home school by residence or may play for Dawson.
St. Vrain School District: he may play for Dawson or may play for a BVSD school to be determined by Michele Deberry. Please contact her at 303 447 5252 for placement.
Adams Five Star District: boys who live and attend in Adams 12 may play for Mountain Range. Boys who live or attend in BVSD and want to play for a BVSD school should contact Michele Deberry at 303 447 5252 for placement.
JeffCo: boys who live and attend in JeffCo should contact their athletic directors for information. Boys who live or attend in BVSD and want to play for a BVSD school should contact Michele Deberry at 303 447 5252 for placement.
