2010 University of Colorado -- BVL Day Camp

DATES: Monday June 14 through Wednesday June 16
LOCATION: University of Colorado at Boulder, Kittredge Fields
TIME: 9am-3pm daily
OPEN TO: Boys just completing grades 1-8
COST: $225 includes lunch and a CU Lacrosse shooter shirt!

Players grouped by grade (1/2, 3/4, 5/6, & 7/8) and experience levels

Instructors: CU Lacrosse head coaches Michael Ryder and Taylor Short, CU players and BVL Coaches with Division I experience.

Guest appearances: by Josh Sims and members of the Denver Outlaws.

Youth Session: 3:00pm - 5:00pm

Program Structure: The program is set up so that the first hour is instruction, fundamentals and skill based and the second hour will be game play.

BOCO Summer Lacrosse Directors
DAWSON LACROSSE CAMPS
The Dawson Lacrosse Camps are designed to develop stick skills and tactical understanding of the game. During the morning sessions, the coaching staff will use a progression of drills to build skills in throwing, catching, cradling, scooping, checking, and shooting. The afternoon sessions will consist of small-sided competitions and full-field games.
Pro lax player Jeremy “Chewy” Ogden started his career at Colorado State University in goal his freshman year. He is currently the starting netminder for the U.S. National Box Lacrosse team for whom he represented in the World Games in 2007. He has played with the Colorado Mammoth, the Portland Lumberjax, and the Chicago Shamrox of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). He started for Team USA in Prague 2009 for their European Champion's Cup tournament and will start again in the next world championships in 2011 in London.
