Due to significant changes in the Colorado summer tournament schedule (including the cancellation of the Colorado Cup) and the changed date of the CYLA Championships, BVL is scaling back our Boulder Summer Select program for the summer of 2018 only.
We will provide limited programming for this summer. Watch this space for more details as they are finalized.
Boulder 2026 (U10/current 4th graders):
U10 Cook team will play June 9-10 at the Rocky Mountain Jamboree in Arvada, as "Boulder 2026."
U10 Gagliano and U10 Lockrem players will play June 9-10 at the Steamboat Showdown, as "Boulder U10."
U10 Cook and U10 Gagliano players will play June 23-24 at the Boomtoom Classic in Boulder, as "Boulder 2026."
Practice dates: June 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, and 21.
Boulder 2025 (U11/current 5th graders):
Tryouts were held Sunday April 29th, 1000am-1130am, at Manhattan Middle School, 290 Manhattan Drive, Boulder.
June 15-17: Denver Shootout at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
June 23-24: Boomtown Classic in Boulder.
Non-parent coaches TBD
Practices: June 12, 14, 19, and 21 in Boulder.
Cost: $175 per tournament.
Boulder 2023 (U13/ current 7th graders)
Director-selected team. Current BVL U13 Select players will have priority for placement.
Coaches will be Michael Simboski (BVL and CU Lacrosse alumnus) and Hart Wise (current CU assistant coach).
Practices will be held Mondays and Wednesdays June 11, 13, 18, 20: 630pm to 800pm at Manhattan MS turf in Boulder.
June 23-24: Boomtown Classic in Boulder.
Cost $175.
Please note that we are offering an "a la carte" program again for summer 2018:
Parents will register for tryouts online beginning in April to indicate what tournaments your son is available to participate in. Players do not have to participate in all tournaments.
Teams will be limited to a maximum of 19 field players and 2 goalies per tournament to insure ample playing time for all-- unlike many overstocked summer teams.
Players selected to participate on a tournament team are welcomed and encouraged to participate in ALL scheduled practices in June.
Cost is $175 per tournament for each player. Players will wear their Boulder Lacrosse jerseys for all tournaments.
Players new to Boulder Lacrosse will be required to purchase an uniform for $80 in addition to tournament fees.
After U11 evaluations are held on Sunday April 29, 2018, we will release rosters for each tournament. We will select the most competitive team possible from the pool of applicants for each tournament. Roster will be released by May 2nd, 2018.
